2024 LAUTECH Post-UTME/DE: How to Apply, Eligibility, and Important Dates

All candidates who selected Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) as their first-choice institution in the 2024/2025 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) are hereby informed that the registration portal for admission into various programs will open on Monday, August 5, 2024, and close on Friday, September 6, 2024. Direct Entry candidates will undergo oral and written interviews on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, and Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Admission Requirements:

  1. O’Level Results: Candidates must upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS. Once admission is offered, candidates must accept or reject the offer on CAPS before JAMB closes the portal to be included in the JAMB National Matriculation list.

Method of Application:

  1. Registration Fee: Applicants should visit the university’s admission portal at apply.lautech.edu.ng to pay a registration fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) using an Inter-Switch Enabled Debit Card (ATM card).
  2. Program Information: Familiarize yourself with the available programs, O’Level entry requirements, and UTME subject combinations.
  3. Application Form: Complete and submit the online application form, uploading a clear digital passport photograph with a white background (JPEG format, not exceeding 20kb).
  4. Acknowledgement Page: Present the acknowledgement page at the screening venue for identification. Blurred pictures will result in disqualification.

Important Notes:

  • Provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers for communication.
  • Candidates awaiting NABTEB, NECO, and WASC results are eligible to apply but must upload results on JAMB CAPS once released.
  • Inconsistencies in names, state of origin, and age on any result will lead to disqualification.
  • Direct Entry candidates must present themselves for the scheduled oral and written interviews to be considered for admission.

Direct Entry Candidates:

  • Obtain Direct Entry forms from JAMB.
  • Forward transcripts to the Registrar, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, at least one week before the screening exercise.
  • Visit apply.lautech.edu.ng to complete and submit applications, ensuring compliance with university admission requirements.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • UTME Candidates: Must have at least five (5) Credits in relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE/NECO/NATEB.
  • Direct Entry Candidates: Must have a minimum of Upper Credit for National Diploma, NCE, HND, RNS, and JUPEB with five (5) Credits in relevant subjects.
  • Specific Programs: Medicine, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science applicants must have five (5) Credits in relevant subjects at one sitting.
  • Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
