Apply Now: OAUSTECH Post-UTME/DE 2024 Registration & Eligibility Guide

Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State (formerly known as Ondo State University of Science and Technology, OSUSTECH) invites all UTME and Direct Entry candidates who applied for admissions for the 2024/2025 academic session to register for the Post-UTME admissions screening exercise.

Eligibility Criteria

  • First Choice Candidates: Candidates who selected OAUSTECH as their first choice and scored 150 and above in the 2024 UTME are eligible for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
  • Second Choice or Non-Choice Candidates: Candidates who chose OAUSTECH as their second choice or did not choose it at all are advised to change their institution to OAUSTECH as their first choice on the JAMB website. Direct Entry candidates should also select OAUSTECH as their first choice before registering.
  • O’ Level Requirements: Candidates must possess five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in no more than two (2) sittings.

Specific Admissions Requirements

  • Nursing Science: Candidates must score 180 and above in the 2024 UTME. The Post-UTME for Nursing Science is scheduled for late September 2024. Direct Entry candidates who have passed the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Examination are also eligible to apply.
  • Agriculture: Candidates applying for Agricultural Economics and Extension, Animal Production and Health, and Crop, Soil, and Pest Management should select the appropriate program on the university portal.

Payment and Application Process

  • Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) is to be paid using an ATM card.
  • Method of Application:

    1. Visit the University website at oaustech.edu.ng or the Admission portal at portal.oaustech.edu.ng/apply.
    2. Read the registration instructions on the portal before proceeding.
    3. Use a VALID DE or UTME Registration Number to sign up for an account and make payment.
    4. Ensure that the DE or UTME Registration Number and Full Names (as on the UTME Slip) are correctly provided during payment and registration.
    5. After successful payment, candidates will be redirected to complete their data registration forms and upload relevant documents online.
    6. Print a copy of the application form and bring it along for the Post-UTME exercise.

Candidates are advised to check their eligibility for each program on the University’s website before proceeding with registration. All courses in the School of Science now run for four (4) years.
