FUGASHUA 2024 Post-UTME/DE: Important Dates/ Cut-off Marks/ and Registration

Federal University, Gashua (FUGASHUA) invites all candidates who applied for admission into its degree programs for the 2024/2025 academic session to participate in the online screening process. The screening will commence on Monday, August 12, 2024, and end on Thursday, September 13, 2024.

Eligibility for Screening

UTME Candidates:

• Must have chosen Federal University Gashua as their first choice.
• Must have scored 140 or above in the UTME.

Direct Entry Candidates:

• Must have chosen Federal University Gashua as their first choice.
• Must have Distinction, Credit, or Merit in NCE, IJMB (6 points & above), Upper Credit in National Diploma (ND), or HND with Lower Credit and above.

Registration Process

Candidates should visit the Federal University, Gashua website to register for the online screening exercise. The registration fee is Two Thousand Naira (₦2000). The portal will be open from August 12, 2024, to September 13, 2024.

Steps to Register:

1. Create an Account:

   • Click on “Register” to create an account.
   • Fill in the form with your JAMB number, first name, surname, entry mode (UTME/DE), email address (username), and password (must contain uppercase letters and numbers).
   • Click “Register Account.”

2. Email Confirmation:

   • A confirmation link will be sent to your email. Click on the confirm email button to be redirected to the payment page.

3. Payment Options:

   • Bank Payment:
     • Click the Pay icon.
     • Print the invoice (RRR invoice) and make your payment at the bank.
   • ATM Payment:
     • Click the Pay icon.
     • Select your card type (MasterCard, Verve card, etc.).
     • Enter your phone number (used for receiving alerts).
     • Confirm and proceed with the payment.
     • Enter your card details and click OK.
     • Enter the OTP received via SMS and click submit.

4. Complete Registration:

   • Log in to the site with your username (email address/JAMB number) and password.
   • Continue with your registration by providing your UTME first choice, second choice, subject combination, and score.
   • Fill in the bio-data form, upload a recent passport photograph, and click next.
   • Provide five relevant O’ level credits, including Mathematics and English, at not more than two sittings. You can update your O’ level results if they are awaited.
   • Provide details of previous institutions attended and qualifications obtained (for DE students).
   • Upload scanned copies of your certificates and results.
   • Click submit and confirm submission.

Upon successful completion, a message stating “Application Submitted Successfully; It Cannot Be Altered. Thanks” will be displayed. Candidates will not be invited for a physical screening aptitude test but will be notified of their admission status through CAPS.
