The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has announced the commencement of online registration for the Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session. This registration is for admission into all courses and programs and will run from Wednesday, August 7th to Friday, September 20th, 2024.
Eligibility
- UTME Candidates: Must have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2024 UTME conducted by JAMB and selected FUTA as their first choice.
- Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: Must have chosen FUTA as their first choice.
- O’ Level Requirements: Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or their equivalent.
Method of Application
- Visit the University Website: Go to www.futa.edu.ng for detailed information.
- Complete the Application Form: Fill out and submit the Post-UTME Application Form online.
- Print the Registration Form: Ensure you print a copy of the completed registration form.
Registration Procedure
- The registration form is mandatory for all eligible candidates.
- Ensure that your UTME Registration Number and full names (as they appear on your JAMB slip) are correctly provided during payment and registration.
- After payment, visit the university website to complete the online registration form.
Screening Fee
- The screening fee is Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000), payable at any bank via the Remita platform after generating the necessary code.
- Candidates who fail to register within the stipulated period will not be eligible for the screening.
