Admission Requirements

A candidate who seeks admission to the PGDPT must have one of the following admission requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a NUC accredited or internationally recognized Engineering program with a minimum of second-class lower division
  • Post HND (bachelor’s degree) from NUC accredited or internationally recognized Engineering program with a minimum of second-class lower division is also accepted
  • Bachelor’s degree from a NUC accredited or internationally recognized physical sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology, Geophysics including Science Laboratory Technology (SLT)) program with second-class lower division
  • Candidate must have completed NYSC

The program is tuition and successfully admitted candidates shall be responsible for their tuition or seek sponsorship. However, successfully admitted candidates from the OBAGI OIL FIELDS Host Communities Development Trust (HCDT) which comprised of Akabuka, Amah, Egi Clan, Idu Obosiukwu, Obagi, Obite, Ogbogu, Rumuekpe, Ekpeye Clan and Oboburu have guaranteed full sponsorship.
