
Former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has unveiled the reason behind the newfound admiration critics of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have developed for him. Over the past three weeks, President Tinubu has made significant changes by dismissing all the Service Chiefs, the Inspector General of the Nigeria Police Force, and the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service.
According to reports from Gurustab, the President has also dissolved the boards of certain Departments and Agencies and successfully enacted some crucial bills into law. Festus Keyamo, sharing a video of a supporter of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, urging him to withdraw his case at the tribunal, revealed that Tinubu’s critics are now experiencing a change of heart.
Taking to his verified Twitter handle, Keyamo expressed that the President’s approach to governance has continued to inspire many individuals, including his staunchest critics, to develop an affectionate regard for him. As a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Keyamo acknowledged that certain supporters of the Nigerian leader were confident in his ability to perform exceptionally due to his previous accomplishments in Lagos State.
In his tweet, he wrote, “And another one acknowledges the reality! The resolute commitment of @officialABAT to matters of governance has consistently kindled admiration even among his harshest critics. Some of us had foreseen the future… 😊”
