Enhanced Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Post-UTME/DE Registration for 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 Academic Sessions
We are pleased to announce the commencement of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Post-UTME/DE registration for the academic sessions 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. This process has been streamlined to ensure a seamless experience for all candidates seeking admission into ABU, Zaria. Below are the key details:
Cut-off Mark:
The minimum UTME score required for eligibility is 180. Candidates with a score of 180 and above are eligible to participate in the Screening Exercise. Direct Entry candidates are only required to pay a screening fee and register.
Registration Period:
The registration window is open from 18th July 2023 to 18th August 2023. During this time, eligible candidates are expected to complete the registration process.
Eligibility and Registration:
All 2022 and 2023 UTME/DE Candidates who have chosen Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria as their FIRST CHOICE for the 2022/2024 Academic Session are required to undergo online registration for the Screening Exercise.
To register, candidates should visit and log in to the official ABU registration portal: https://portal.abu.edu.ng/forms , or access the 2022/2023 Post UTME Registration link on the Ahmadu Bello University website: http://abu.edu.ng
Candidates need to pay a registration fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only. Payment can be completed using the REMITA platform through Point of Sale (POS) terminals at designated offices within the campus, online payment, or by obtaining the REMITA RETRIEVAL REFERENCE (RRR) slip and making payment at any bank. Importantly, there’s no need for candidates to travel to Zaria to make the payment.
Screening Schedule:
The screening exercise has been thoughtfully organized to accommodate candidates from both the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 academic sessions. The schedule is as follows:
1. 21st August 2023 (Monday) – Faculty of Social Science
2. 22nd August 2023 (Tuesday) – Faculty of Engineering & Environmental Design
3. 23rd August 2023 (Wednesday) – Faculty of Nursing & Law
4. 24th August 2023 (Thursday) – Faculty of Agriculture, Pharmaceutical Science, Physical Science, Life Science, and Veterinary Medicine
5. 25th August 2023 (Friday) – ABU Business School (Accounting, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, Marketing & Insurance), Administration, Arts, Education
6. 26th August 2023 (Saturday) – College of Medical Sciences (Medicine, Dental Surgery, Radiography, Medical Laboratory Science, Human Anatomy, and Human Physiology)
Important Requirements:
Candidates must bring along their original JAMB and Post UTME registration printout to the screening venue.
Note:
Candidates who fail to register for the Screening Exercise will not be considered for admission into the University.
