FUNAAB 2024 Post-UTME/DE: Application Process, Cut-off Marks, and Important Dates

Applicants seeking undergraduate admission into 100, 200, or 300 Levels at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), who have chosen the University as their Most Preferred Institution with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), are invited to apply online for the 2024/2025 Pre-Admission Screening Exercise. The 2024/2025 academic session is expected to commence in October 2024.

Admission Process

Admission to FUNAAB is highly competitive. Successful candidates will be offered admission through JAMB’s Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) based on the institution’s capacity. Admitted students will undergo an intensive ICT Training and Orientation Programme to prepare them for life at FUNAAB.

Application Procedure

  1. Login and Invoice Generation: Eligible candidates should click on “Login” and enter their JAMB UTME or JAMB Direct Entry Registration Numbers to generate and print their Application Invoice, which includes their REMITA Reference Number and other payment details.
  2. Payment: Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000.00 (excluding REMITA charges) at any bank accepting REMITA payments, online using a debit card, via Internet Banking, or through the REMITA website using the REMITA Reference Number.
  3. Form Completion: After payment, return to the University admission portal, log in, and complete the e-application form. Ensure all required information (contact details, O’Level examination details, OND/HND/NCE/A’Level/IJMB/JUPEB results) is correctly inputted.
  4. Review and Submission: On the last page (acknowledgement page), carefully review your application and confirm the entries before clicking the Submit button. Print and keep the Application Form displaying your passport photograph.

Important Dates

  • Application Opens: Thursday, 1st August 2024
  • Application Closes: Friday, 13th September 2024

Correction of Data

Correction of wrongly entered data attracts a fee of ₦1,500.00 and can be done online before the application closing date. No complaints about wrong contact details or results will be entertained after submission. Candidates who upload incorrect O’Level or UTME/OND/HND/NCE/A’Level/IJMB/JUPEB results will be automatically disqualified.

  • Part-time Programmes: Candidates can express interest in the Part-time (weekday evenings) option of their preferred course if available. Further details are available at the FUNAAB Part-Time Portal.
  • DE Candidates: DE candidates must submit their transcript (OND/HND/NCE candidates) or Certified True Copy of Statement of Results (A’level candidates) to the Registrar, FUNAAB, by Friday, 6th September 2024.

Responsibility

Candidates are solely responsible for ensuring they meet the minimum admission requirements before making payment. If it is discovered at any point that a candidate does not meet the minimum requirements, the offer of admission will be withdrawn, and the payment made is non-refundable.
