FUNAI 2023 Post-UTME/DE: Cut-off Marks, Eligibility, and Registration Details

Important Notice: Registration for the 2023/2024 Academic Session Post-UTME & Direct Entry Screening at Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State

Greetings to the general public,

We wish to bring to your attention that the registration process for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry Screening for the academic session 2023/2024 is set to commence on the 15th of August, 2023, and will conclude on the 1st of October, 2023.

Applicants who have obtained a score of 150 or higher in the 2023 UTME and have designated Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State as their primary choice of institution during the application process for admission in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply. It’s important to note that candidates aspiring to study Medicine and Surgery must achieve a minimum score of 250, while those interested in Law must secure a minimum score of 240 in the UTME to be considered eligible for the University’s Post-UTME.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

We extend additional information to prospective candidates seeking admission to Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) for the 2023/2024 academic session:

Eligibility and Change of Institution/Course:

Candidates aspiring to study Medicine and Surgery should have obtained a minimum score of 250, while those interested in Law should have a minimum score of 240 in the 2023 UTME. For other programs, a score of 150 and above is necessary. If AE-FUNAI wasn’t initially selected as the first choice institution, but the candidate wishes to apply, they must complete a “Change of Institution/Course” to AE-FUNAI on the JAMB Portal before October 1st, 2023. This applies to both Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates.

Registration at AE-FUNAI ICT Centres:

Candidates who intend to register for the Post-UTME through the AE-FUNAI ICT Centres can choose from two locations:

I. University CBT Centre at Zone A on the University Campus.

OR

ii. Centre for Educational Services (JUPEB/Pre-Degree School), Aguogboriga Estate, Abakaliki.

Registration Guidelines:

1. During the registration process, candidates are advised to provide easily accessible GSM numbers for efficient communication.

2. Candidates must understand that providing false information at any stage of the screening and admission process will result in automatic disqualification of their application.

Mode of Payment and Registration Procedure:

Eligible candidates need to pay a processing fee of N2,000 only. To complete the registration, follow these steps:

1. Visit the University website: www.funai.edu.ng
2. Navigate to “ADMISSIONS” in the top menu or use the “QUICK LINKS.”
3. Click on “2023/2024 UTME Admission Screening” or “2023/2024 Direct Entry Admission Screening.”
4. Select “Prospective Students.”
5. Click on “Click to Apply” under “2023/2024 Admission Screening Application.”
6. Enter your “JAMB Registration Number.”
7. Choose your payment mode (Generate Remita Retrieval Reference Number).
8. Make your payment at any bank using the Remita number.
9. Return to the Application page and re-enter your “JAMB Registration Number.”
10. Complete the form and submit your application.
11. Print your acknowledgement slip.

Mode of Screening:

The screening process for the 2023/2024 academic session PUTME involves assessing JAMB UTME results, verifying O/ Level and Direct Entry results. There will not be a PUTME Computer-Based Test (CBT). Ensure that your O/ Level and Direct Entry results are uploaded on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) by October 1st, 2023. Applications without result uploads will not be processed.
