In a recent statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Yakubu Bala Tafidan Yauri, it has been announced that the Governor of Kebbi State, Dr. Nasir Idris, has approved the appointment of thirty (30) Special Advisers.
The appointments, which take effect immediately, have been made based on merit. The appointed individuals and their respective portfolios are as follows:

3. Mohammed Bello Nassarawa – Environment
4. Kabiri Sani Giant – Political Affairs and Power
5. Shafiu Abubakar Zauro – Special Duties
6. Dr. Aminu Haliru Bunza – Health
7. Dr. Buhari Ali Gwandu – International Donor Agencies
8. Surajo Garba Bagudo – Bureau for Public Procurement
9. Mohammad Arzika Dan Ato – Revenue Generation

11. Kabiru Labbo Jega – Finance
