Announcement: Registration for 2023/2024 OAUSTECH Post-UTME Admissions Screening Exercise
Greetings to all UTME and Direct Entry candidates who have applied for admission to Ousegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), previously known as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), located in Okitipupa, Ondo State. We are pleased to inform you that the registration process for the Post-UTME Admissions Screening Exercise for the upcoming academic session 2023/2024 has now commenced.
Eligibility:
– Candidates who selected OAUSTECH as their first choice institution and achieved a score of 150 and above in the 2023 UTME are eligible to participate in the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
– Candidates who initially chose OAUSTECH as their second choice or did not select it at all are strongly advised to perform a change of institution to designate OAUSTECH as their first choice on the JAMB website. Direct Entry candidates are also required to make OAUSTECH their first choice before proceeding with registration.
– All candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, obtained in no more than two (2) sittings.
Important Notes:
– Duration Change: Please take note that all programs in the School of Science now have a duration of four (4) years.
– Specific Admissions Requirements: Prior to registration, it’s recommended that candidates verify their eligibility for their chosen programs by visiting the University’s official website.
Program-specific Requirements:
– Nursing Science: Candidates applying for Nursing Science must have obtained a score of 180 and above in the 2023 UTME. A specific date for the PUTME will be announced for this program in late September 2023.
– Agriculture: For programs like Agricultural Economics and Extension, Animal Production and Health, and Crop, Soil and Pest Management, which fall under the Agriculture category on the JAMB portal, candidates should choose any one of these three programs during their application on the University’s portal.
Application Procedure:
– A processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) should be paid through the provided procedure, utilizing an ATM card.
Application Steps:
1. Visit the University’s official website at https://oaustech.edu.ng or access the Admission portal at https://portal.oaustech.edu.ng/apply
2. Prior to beginning the screening registration, carefully read and follow the registration instructions provided on the portal.
3. During the registration process, ensure you use a VALID UTME Registration Number to create an account and make the payment.
4. When making the payment and registration, provide accurate information, including your DE or UTME Registration Number and your Full Names (as they appear on your UTME Slip).
5. Upon successful payment, the system will automatically guide you through the registration stages. Carefully complete your data registration forms and upload the required documents online.
6. It’s advised that you print a copy of the application form and bring it along for the upcoming POST UTME exercise.
