In addition, the summit will delve into the findings presented during the 50th Ordinary Session of the Mediation and Security Council (MSC), shedding light on the security challenges faced by member nations. Furthermore, there will be discussions based on the report presented at the 90th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Council of Ministers, which will cover the group’s financial status and the progress made in implementing the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). Lastly, an assessment of the political transition in the Republics of Mali, Burkina Faso, and Guinea will also be addressed.

Tinubu, during his visit, arrived at the Aeroporto International Guinea-Bissau, just before the commencement of the 63rd Ordinary session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
